Quechua is a language spoken by more than eight million Latin Americans and by at least four million Peruvians in its various varieties.
Our course is aimed at those who need to know or rediscover Andean wisdom and understand the logic of thought and action of the Andean population, who interact in daily life and in the various efforts and socialization that occur in the environment.

Students will have the opportunity to visit the Temple of the Sun, The famous Qoricancha, this temple was the most important temple during the Inca Empire, whose walls are still visible within the current structure and whose external appearance changed completely during the colonization process.

Visit for 1 day the community in Chincheros about 50 minutes from Cusco. Where they will be greeted with local music and dance. After the welcoming, they begin the activities on the fields. The activity will depend on the time of the year. Followed by lunch and demonstration of the textile from local people.

Visit to Inkary Museum in Calca-Sacred Valley, which shows the world the impressive manifestations of the most important cultures of pre-Hispanic Peru, through a modern and easy-to-read language. This project intend, to show that Peru is a country of diverse cultures, since it not only includes the splendid Inca Empire, but also includes Caral, Chavín, Paracas, Moche, Nasca, Wari, Lambayeque. and Chimú, societies exhibited within a chronological tour in the Museum.

This program is for students at any level of Quechua and start every Monday through Friday and the student will have private Quechua classes for 5 days a week.

Classes will be schedule for mornings or afternoon:

• Morning classes from 09am to 13hs
• Afternoon classes from 14hs to 18hs

What will I learn?

• Pronunciation and writing: basic rules.
• Alphabet and vocabulary: everyday situations.
• Greetings, questions and answers, asking for information about places or contact details, etc.
• Personal presentation, conjugation of verbs in tenses.
